Distance Learning Services for Students: Home

This guide addresses some of the questions you may have as a distance learning student.

What I can do for you

  • Assist you in locating and obtaining materials you need for your courses.
  • Assist you with your research questions.
  • Connect you with the best librarian subject-area specialist for in-depth questions.
  • Answer your questions about library services.

Obtain a library account

If you are off campus and are unable to physically visit the Libraries, you’ll need to have the Department of Access Services create a library account for you.  Accessing your library account online tells you what you have checked out and when it is due.  You’ll also be able to see any holds or flags on your account.   If you have trouble getting to your account, please contact Access Services at
