If you are off campus and are unable to physically visit the Libraries, you’ll need to have the Department of Access Services create a library account for you. Accessing your library account online tells you what you have checked out and when it is due. You’ll also be able to see any holds or flags on your account. If you have trouble getting to your account, please call Access Services at 706 542-3256. After 5PM and on weekends, call 706 542-0641.

You now have two options available to you. You can log in with the GALILEO password, or you can log in using your UGA MyID. To see the current GALILEO password, log in to your library account.
Off-campus access to the UGA Libraries’ GALILEO databases is password protected and available only to faculty, staff, and currently enrolled students of the University of Georgia. Please note that the GALILEO password changes at the beginning of each semester. Students from other Georgia institutions and Georgia public library patrons should contact their own libraries directly for password assistance.
