Honors Scholars: Keeping up with research

Professional Associations

Often Professional Associations are a good resource for learning about new advancements in your field.  Click on the Professional Associations Tab to learn more.

Browzine

If there are certain journals key to your field, you can keep track of them using a service called Browzine.  Browzine allows you the opportunity to save copies of journals to your phone, tablet, or computer, and it will send you a notification when a new issue is published.  It is organized by subject so you can use it to discover other publications as well.  You can export articles to citation management as well!

Find out about how to set up a Browzine Account here:  http://guides.libs.uga.edu/browzine

Setting up database alerts

Many databases will allow you to set up search alerts to let you know when new articles have been added that match your search criteria. This guide will give you instructions on how to do this in Multi-Search, Google Scholar, Web of Science, and more!
