- Database individual accounts: Most databases provide individual online accounts. For example, if you mainly use EBSCO databases, such as Academic Search Complete and PsycINFO, you can sign up for an individual account and save articles and citations to your account folder.

- RefWorks: A web-based system (log in online), good for collaborative work
- EndNote: A client-based system (downloadable program) with a web suite (EndNote Web) that is ideal for back-up.
These two systems are fully supported by UGA Libraries. Get them free through UGA Libraries at the links above. You can get one-on-one assistance and training from a UGA Librarian. There is also a toll free technical support number for each system.
You can search for other citation management programs available online, but they will not be officially supported by UGA Libraries.Some, such as Mendeley, and Zotero have both free tiers and paid tiers with extra features.
