Citation Management

Need help learning EndNote and RefWorks? Not sure what Citation Management is? You've come to the right place.

What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic reference and citation manager. It works with word-processors to create citations in your papers as well as the bibliography in the styles you need.

RefWorks Account Creation

To create a RefWorks Account, simply go to https://refworks.proquest.com and use your UGA email address to register.

There are extensive tutorials available, and you can request training in New RefWorks right now using the Training Request Form.  New RefWorks provides easy transfer of your citations from Old RefWorks into the new account, and there are lots of new features our users will love, like Write in Cite incorporation into Google Docs.

Old (Legacy) RefWorks will go away at some point, so those users are encouraged to transfer their accounts.

If you are currently using Old (Legacy) RefWorks to write a paper, don't migrate your data until you finish.
