Introductory Class Training, Thursday, November 7

Introduction to EndNote (Mac interface), Main Library Instruction Lab A, 11:00-Noon, HYBRID SESSION

  • Attend in-person at the Main Library, OR register to attend online.

Introduction to EndNote (PC interface), Mc Bay Science Library Classroom, Room 217, 2-3pm IN-PERSON SESSION only

Information covered at both locations:

  • Export items from Google Scholar and UGA databases to EndNote
  • Make Group Sets and Groups for organization
  • Cycle through library reference views (Summary, PDF, Edit)
  • How to make a quick RTF (Rich Text Format) bibliography
  • How to insert a citation into a document from the EndNote toolbar
  • How to make a correction in a reference and then Update in Word
  • How to submit papers without EndNote coding

Download EndNote

EndNote is a citation management tool. It allows you to keep track of and organize your references, and use those references to create citations and bibliographies in word processing software such as Word or Google Docs. To use EndNote, you need to download and install it on your personal laptop or desktop machine.

This installation wizard will guide you to the right installer file for EndNote. Select "Guides and Videos" if you'd like to see a video first.
