The Cricut and Button Makers are used for educational, non-commercial purposes only. Materials are for prototyping and experimentation, not for mass production. Users are limited to 4 buttons per person. Users who wish to make more buttons, will need to purchase those supplies. Supplies can be purchased at American Button Machines.
All users agree to respect the health and safety of the University community and abide by all applicable state and federal laws, University policies, Libraries' policies, and the Student Code of Conduct.
No weapons, parts for weapons, weapon accessories, or weapon replicas may be produced with Makerspace equipment.
The University System of Georgia abides by the copyright laws of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code), which governs creating reproductions of copyrighted materials. All users of Makerspace equipment must abide by copyright and trademark laws.
Makerspace equipment may not be used to create or view obscene or inappropriate content including violent or gory content, sexually explicit content, content that promotes or condones intimidation or violence against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity.
Makerspace employees reserve the right to deny or cancel any vinyl cutter project that does not comply with the above policies.
