Grey Literature

Finding Grey Literature in GALILEO Databases

Many of our GALILEO databases index some grey literature, or exist as a repository for types of grey literature.  The Advanced search feature can assist you in narrowing down to just those documents using filters for "Source," such as Conference Papers, Reports, and Working Papers.

Search EBSCO Databases for Grey Literature

Many of our databases are provided by a same company, EBSCO.  This includes the Multi-Search, ERIC, PsycInfo, and many others.  You can limit to different types of Grey Literature by using the "Source" limiter after you do your search.

Searching ProQuest Databases for Grey Literature

We have several databases (48 in total) provided by a database provider called ProQuest.  These databases index a lot of Grey Literature, especially Dissertations and Theses.  If you specifically are looking to search Dissertations and Theses, ProQuest has the largest single database indexing them.
