This fun, highly motivating game is designed to build and reinforce the key reading and language arts skills it takes to be a good reader in a non-threatening atmosphere.
Players decide whether news stories have cause and effect, problem/solution, compare/contrast, sequence or descriptive text structure.
Winning is based on knowledge and skills rather than random factors and trivia, and players never lose points for wrong answers. Each title focuses on a specific skill necessary for comprehension of text—from fiction to informational texts and directions.
