Using Kaltura (Video editing and screen casting): Creating and Recording Video

Express Recording allows you to record a video via your webcam.  Just hit the big red button to start.

Kaltura also allows you to record screen captures.  Click on "Kaltura Capture."  There is an app to install after in order to record.

Once it opens you will have the option to capture your screen.

You can capture both your webcam and screen at the same time.  Click on the big red button to start.

You can turn off the webcam if you don't want to capture it as well

If you're happy with the video, you can upload it to My Media to start editing.

Click on the recording to add a new title, tags, or to get a direct link to the file.
