Kaltura is a video recording, editing, and streaming service offered by UGA CTL. Kaltura allows faculty to record video via webcam or screen cast, and then edit the resulting file by adding captions, trimming and cutting, and adding minor effects. Kaltura also supports hosting the file (with public, unlisted, and private options), or the user can directly upload the file to YouTube. It also is integrated into eLC.
You can log into Kaltura using your MyID and password here: https://kaltura.uga.edu/
CTL has a help document which goes into creating and uploading videos, captioning, and sharing: https://help.elc.uga.edu/faculty/kaltura-audio-and-video/ THIS GUIDE IS OUTDATED. YOU DON'T NEED TO CONTACT EITS TO GET AN ACCOUNT. SIMPLY LOG IN WITH YOUR MYID AND PASSWORD.
