JSTOR Image Collectionss (formerly Artstor) are the most extensive image resource for educational and scholarly use.
In August 2024, Artstor Image Collections were integrated into the larger JSTOR database. Users can now search both text and images in one search interface.
The image collections document artistic traditions across many time periods and cultures including architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design. Images come from museums, archaeological teams, photo archives, slide collections, and art reference publishers. The collection is over 1.9 million images and continues to grow.
Located in the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Room N201, the Art Library is the central resource for images and imaging technologies used by instructors and students at the Dodd for teaching and studying purposes.
We have multiple scanners and computers that you can use as well as knowledgable staff who can help you meet your image needs.
