A great way to get a feel for how the Gilded Age unfolded in Georgia is through the  state's Governor's Messages.  These speeches by governors provide a summary description of  current problems and as well as ongoing programs in the state and often include future plans to address issues or concerns  or initiate new projects. The Georgia Code is also a great place to explore the evolution of laws passed in the Georgia.  To access official actions and perspectives of the Georgia  state representatives and senators, explore the Georgia House Journal and the Georgia Senate Journal.
