Organize your Research

Create a document or spreadsheet where you can track information you discover during your research. The document should include the following categories:  

  • Names of people or organizations 
  • Terms or phrases used in relation to the environmental issue or problem 
  • Terms or phrases used in relation to environmental legislation 
  • Associated locations (places where environmental issues are centered--such as SUPERFUND sites)
  • Timeline of key events
  • Questions that arise as you conduct research
