General Advice

The CDC has a compendium series on measures and assessments. Go to the CDC Stacks website and run a search. You can try a phrase like "compendium of assessment" or just "compendium". The search tends to run better without quotation marks.

Some of these sites are maintained by large university departments, while others are the projects of individual librarians or faculty. Some are lists while others are searchable databases.

Psychological Tests for Student Use - About 20 complete tests on various aspects: loneliness, self-esteem, trust, etc.
UPenn Positive Psychology Questionnaires - About 20 complete questionnaires on positive psychology aspects: hope, gratitude, mindful attention, etc.
Social-Personality Psychology Questionnaire Instrument Compendium (QIC) - Items on this site should either have the full instrument, or indicate the instrument was put on the web by the person who created the instrument. In the latter case, you should be able to find contact information for a permission request. For some items, this may take time, but in others it may be a very quick download form.
International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) - This is more a storehouse of separate items for instrument development and construction, but you can find some complete surveys and instruments like Markey and Markey's (2009) 8 IPIP Interpersonal Circumplex Scales.
University of Wisconsin - Madison Addiction Research Center - Self Report Measures - Contains measures on drugs and alcohol, but also affect measures, personality measures, and externalizing measures. You will likely need to request use permission from the copyright holder. Contact links are provided. Individual measure example: Beck Depression Inventory (BDI)

eBooks

Like printed books, ebooks are in the GIL-Find catalog. The "Books and More" search box on the library website is the same content as GIL-Find, so you can use either for search for ebooks. Just limit to online resources and books.
