Welcome to UGA!
Some services and resources at UGA may be different from what was available at your previous academic institution.
As someone who has recently transferred here, some of your professors won't recognize you as new to campus. When they give you that first research assignment they will likely expect that you already know how to use our library resources.
We hope this guide will provide you with information about the libraries at UGA and get you caught-up to speed quickly.
Talk with a librarian live through our Chat with Librarian service!
You also have a librarian assigned to your major. Find them here.
UGA uses a campus-wide integrated printed system called WEPA. This means you can print any job from your computer (either on or off campus) or in person from any WEPA printing station. Learn more about printing using WEPA here.
Find important links for campus services here on the Libraries' "Setting In" page.
Everything you need to know about the UGA Libraries research resources including how to access our catalog, GALILEO, and policies regarding checking out books.
We have Libraries all over campus. Here is where they are located.
We have spaces specifically for studying all over campus.
Some notable places:
* Miller Learning Center (96 group study rooms, individual study carrels throughout the building, white boards for student use)
* Main Library 1st floor (28 group study rooms)
* Main Library 4th floor Collaborative Study Space (you can draw on the walls!)
* Science Library 4th floor "Think Tank" (Quiet for thinking great thoughts)
