Reports of publicly-held companies are available through diverse media. The table below this box indicates the coverage available at UGA Libraries. Actual coverage for particular companies may vary. Dates of coverage refer to report years.
Prior to using print, microfiche, or cd-rom for older filings be sure to check Refinitiv Workspace. Many filings--especially the 10-K, ARS, and Proxy--may be covered to as early as 1971.
The CD-ROM collection of U.S. company reports is located on the 2nd floor behind the staff elevator (See map below.). A computer is available to search for needed reports and to download them from the discs. Ask at the Main Library reference desk on the 1st floor for assistance.

Microfiche must be retrieved from the Libraries' Repository by requesting at the circulation desk: first consult the fiche card catalog (See map below.) to determine the call number(s) of the type of report and the availability of reports for specific company(s) needed:
1. If tracking a number of companies, have a laptop or other device with a spreadsheet or list of your companies with you. Go to the card catalog drawers for the 10-K reports (or other report types: ARS, Proxy statements, and two others). Companies are in alphabetical order. Find the card for each company of interest. Make a note in your list if there is a company that is not in the set at all. The dates listed on each card are the dates of the specific 10-K reports in the set for that company. Make sure there is at least one annual 10-K report of interest for each company.
2. With your annotated list complete, print it out, and proceed to the Circulation Desk. Let the clerk know you want to retrieve some microfiche being held at the repository. Have them look up the catalog record for the specific filing type in microfiche, e.g., 10-Ks: MFC HG4050 .D3 Disclosure [annual company reports : 10-K required SEC filing forms.
3. Let the circulation clerk know that this request needs to be handled manually (i.e., you can't place the request through the catalog's online request function because there are no holdings attached to the catalog records for these microfiche sets). If need be the clerk should consult Mary Poland or Vicki Timian. Make sure they take your list. Access Services staff will let you know what's going to happen from there.
4. Once the Access Services has retrieved the fiche from the repository, you will be notified and they will make arrangements for you to access them in the library each time you want to use them for your research project.
