In ProQuest Ebook Central you may print or download portions of e-books (single pages, a chapter, or section, up to a set number of pages). Printing or downloading a chapter or page range do the same thing -- both options create a PDF that does not expire. The PDF can then be printed anytime or read offline.
Each book's print/download allowance is displayed on the Book Details page, and can vary depending on the publisher. Once you have printed/chapter downloaded a page, the allowance automatically counts down. The allowance will reset after 24 hours, giving you the full number of pages to print/download again.
