The Libraries have several free services to get books and articles not available at UGA. As always, ask us for help in figuring out the quickest way to get something.
Is it a book?

Use GIL Express, a service that lets you order books through GIL Find from any University System of Georgia Library. See instructions.

If the UGA copy is checked out, sign in and use the 'Request' link below the call number to recall it.

When UGA doesn't own a book and it's not available through GIL Express, request it through Interlibrary Loan using their request form. More details on the Interlibrary Loan service are on their FAQ.
Is it an article or book chapter?
Request it through Interlibrary Loan using their ILLiad request form. They can usually get a scan of the article or chapter within a few days. More details on the Interlibrary Loan service are on their FAQ .
Can you travel to another library?
UGA students, faculty and staff may go to any library in the University System of Georgia and check out books with a UGACard as long as their library account is in good standing. Books may be returned to UGA or any USG library.
