Creating Videos and Editing

Programs, equipment, and advice to support video creation and editing. Development for UNIV 2115, but helpful to anyone.

Access to iMovie

With more people using Macs, iMovie has become a common way to edit videos. It is more intuitive than many programs, which makes it easy to get started. If you have a Mac, it should come pre-loaded. if not, you should be able to download it easily from the App Store.

Miller Learning Center

  • Mac workstations - Mac workstations on the 3rd floor have access to iMovie, as well as GarageBand.
  • Digital Media Lab - Called the DML, this lab is on the 3rd floor of the Miller Learning Center. Due to social distancing, there may be some changes in policy, and limited seating capacity.

Departmental Labs

  • Check with your department to see if Mac workstations are available.
