Science Library Makerspace: Technology Research and Instruction

Mission and Access

The Science Library Makerspace fosters an active-learning environment that inspires curiosity, exploration, and innovative uses of technology that support the research and academics of UGA. The Science Library Makerspace cultivates an environment of discovery, critical thought, and project-based learning of technology.

The Makerspace is open to all UGA students, staff, and faculty with a valid UGA ID for educational, non-commercial uses.

Visiting researchers/scholars may receive a UGA ID by registering with the Office of Research Personnel. Visiting researchers/scholars must also submit a UGA Library responsibility voucher. This voucher also allows remote access to Library e-resources.
