Manage citations and access to the full text
- Database individual accounts: Most databases provide individual online accounts. For example, if you mainly use EBSCO databases, such as Academic Search Complete and PsycINFO, you can sign up for an individual account and save articles and citations to your account folder.
Manage citations, access the full text, AND insert formated citations into your word processing program
- RefWorks: A web-based system (log in online), good for collaborative work
- EndNote: A client-based system (downloadable program) with a web suite (EndNote Web) that is ideal for back-up.
These two systems are fully supported by UGA Libraries. Get them for free through UGA Libraries. You can get one-on-one assistance and training from a UGA Librarian. There is also a toll free technical support number for EndNote, direct from EndNote's publishers.
There are many other programs, such as Mendeley, that are free and available online, but not officially supported by UGA Libraries.
