The database, Journal Citation Reports, is a multidisciplinary database that ranks most major academic journals by how often they have been cited. To help users best compare journals and discover which are the most significant to them, JCR Web provides rankings. This database is a cousin to Web of Science

Web of Science is only for scholarly materials. You can search by author/title, etc. The great this is that each entry has a list of the materials cited as well as which articles in the database have cited the same article.
