New to UGA? Guess what? Librarians are here to help you. Really. Ask us questions. Ask for help finding articles. Ask what "peer reviewed" means. Ask how you find a book. Ask how long you can keep things you've checked out. Ask if we have a stapler. Ask where the restroom is. Just ask. No one will laugh. No one will be mad. Librarians make a living answering questions. But we can't do that if everyone is too afraid to ask in the first place. So, get the help you need and keep librarians employed. You're not bothering anyone. You're not interrupting anyone. And librarians need the work.
For this class, I am your librarian. Ask me anything. I'll try my best do help you! My contact info is to the right. Call, click or stop in. Really. It's okay. They pay me to answer questions!
Thank you to my colleague, Lynn Cahoon, for the use of her pages: "Getting Started with the Basics", "Books" and "Articles & Databases"
