EDEC 7010: Trends & Issues in Early Childhood Development (Fields-Smith): Getting Help

Additional Help & Resources

This page has little odds and ends that you may need, all gathered together into one place.

Contact Us--Let us help you! Don't sit there, getting angry, ask us for help! My contact info is also on the right side of this page. You can also use the Contact Us link from the Libraries' Homepage for late-night help and more.

Make a Research Appointment. If you're stuck and not finding what you want, make an appointment with a librarian for personalized assistance. My contact info is to the right and Nadine Cohen also works with the COE. Contact us and let us empower you!

Avoiding Plagiarism Thanks to Sheila Devaney for creating this page.

Citation Management--Thanks to Liz Holdsworth for this page, which shows you how to manage the materials you are using in your research and how these tools can insert citations into your paper, correctly format them and create your Reference List. In the COE, I can help you with RefWorks and Nadine Cohen, in the Main Library, can help you with Endnote.

GIL Express--Borrow BOOKS that we either do not own or that are in use from any University System of Georgia library. This service is free and pretty fast. You can choose the CML as a delivery point.

Interlibrary Loan--If there is an article you need and we don't already have it or have access, ILL is the place to go. The same for books. THIS IS ONLY FOR MATERIALS WHICH WE DO NOT OWN. The service is fast & free. Visit their page for more information.
