How to use examples

Don't watch examples to do something similar. Watch examples to find out what you like, and what you don't like. Get ideas about what you might do differently. 

  • What did you think of the sound? Did it ever distract you?
  • How did they transition from one location to another?
  • Can you tell how many different locations and camera setups were used?
  • Did you notice how many clips were used? How long was the longest that anyone spoke?
  • How was the camera positioned for interviews?
  • Did you see microphones?

Carefully analyze and think about the content, and the possibilities suggested.
