When you have a citation in hand, for example, from the bibliography of another article, and you want to get THAT new article in hand, do this:
Libraries Homepage>>E-Journals Tab>>Type in the title of THE JOURNAL, NOT THE ARTICLE TITLE, leaving off any leading articles (a, an, or the) from the JOURNAL TITLE (Journal of College Student Affairs and NOT THE Journal of College Student Affairs)>>click the "UGA Access" button>>open the Text Options Page which will open in a new window.
If UGA doesn't have it electronically? Check again in GIL and look for the print version. If we STILL don't have it, contact Interlibrary Loan. They will track down your article and send it as a PDF to your email. For free. No kidding. For books you need THAT ARE NOT OWNED BY UGA, Interlibrary Loan (ILL as we say in the trade) is still the place to go. For BOOKS that we own but which are in use, use GIL Express. GIL Express lets you borrow BOOKS from any University System of Georgia Library. Get materials shipped to any USG library & return to any USG library, anywhere in the state.
