SPAN 6700 (Benedict) - Objective

This class is designed to help locate the resources available through the UGA Libraries and beyond that enhance an academic consideration of Hispanic American literature from the end of the 19th century to the current day.

SPAN 6700 (Benedict) - Goals

Each student will:

  • Write a paragraph describing final paper proposal and include a bibliography - Due March 23
  • Write a critical essay (8-10 double-spaced pages using 12 point Times New Roman type):
    • Rough draft - Due April 25
    • Final paper - Due May 4

SPAN 6700 (Benedict) - Style Guides

There are various styles for creating bibliographies and citing authors in your research papers. Basic information about some of the more popular styles can be seen from the Libraries' homepage. Click the "Help & Services" tab on the top of the UGA Libraries Webpage, then look for "Citation Style Guides" under the "Research" column on the left, including the 9th edition of the MLA Handbook. (Copies of the 2021 9th edition the MLA Handbook are in the stacks and at the Main, Science and Miller Learning Center Reference areas: LB2369 .M53 2021.)
