Course Objectives (LING 8100)

At the end of the library session, students will:
  • Have been introduced to some of the databases and other sources of reliable information the UGA Libraries provide.

Style Guides (LING 8100)

There are various styles for creating bibliographies and citing authors in your research papers. See here for links to the most commonly used styles.

There is no published guide for the preferred style of the Linguistic Society of America (LSA), but there is a "Unified style sheet for linguistics" that was approved in 2007.
