COVID-19: Library Resources and Services

Welcome

As we all learn to navigate a new landscape in online learning, the University of Georgia Libraries remain your partner in research, teaching, and learning.

This guide outlines some of the ways you can make use of our resources and services during this time when all Libraries buildings are closed.

Our Services While the Buildings Remain Closed

We are committed to helping you access materials online.

Here are some of our most in-demand services and resources. See the For Students and For Faculty pages of this guide for a fuller listing, including streaming media and special collections materials:

Electronic Books

We're expanding our online collections to get you the ebooks you need. See the Access to eBooks page of this guide.

Print Books

Pursuant to the Governor's April 2 Executive Order to shelter in place, we have suspended access to our print collection until further notice.

Articles/Journals

We can:

  • Connect you with online journal articles in our databases and Multi-Search.
  • Interlibrary Loan may be able to get PDFs of articles and chapters for you from other libraries if those libraries are operating. Pursuant to the Governor's April 2 Executive Order to shelter in place, we have suspended scanning of print books and articles until further notice.

Assistance

If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to a librarian either through online chat or email (ask@uga.libanswers.com) or by emailing your subject librarian.
