Science Library Makerspace Mission

The mission of the Science Library Makerspace is to foster an active-learning environment that inspires curiosity, exploration, critical thought, and innovative uses of technology that complement multidisciplinary curricular activities. The Science Library Makerspace cultivates discovery and hands-on learning that enhances intellectual curiosity and student success. The Makerspace is open to all UGA students, staff, faculty, and affiliates for educational, non-commercial uses.

Lynda.com allows free access to its vast library of video tutorials for all UGA students, faculty, and staff. Its video tutorials are designed for all skill levels and can be viewed at increments of just a few minutes to allow you flexibility to learn the skills at your own pace. The Science Library Makerspace utilizes video tutorials and Library resources.
