Google for Scholars
Learn how to leverage and use Google Scholar as a gateway to academic articles, including journals subscribed to by the UGA Libraries. A librarian and published researcher will share her strategies for using Google Scholar, Google Books, and other Google tricks and tools to supplement your research.

QGIS Workshop 1: Point Data
We’ll use QGIS to put points on a map; exploring different symbology (including graduated and proportional symbols!) and style options for your map layouts.

QGIS Workshop 2: Polygon Data
We’ll use QGIS to combine tables with available geometry to turn that data into a map. We’ll cover clipping, filtering, and joining data, and styling a choropleth map.

HathiTrust and Free Digital Archives
